BreathersBliss Lab · Practical guide

Feeling air pass more comfortably through your nose is not the same as treating sleep apnoea. BreathersBliss nasal strips support comfort at the nasal entrance; they do not replace prescribed treatment. If you use CPAP, discuss their possible role with your care team, including your specific mask and skin condition.

At a glance

A nasal strip acts on the sides of the nose, not on breathing pauses during sleep. Do not change your CPAP treatment or settings to try a strip. Ask your care team to check mask compatibility before combining them.

01

What a nasal strip actually does

An external strip sticks to the skin and gently lifts the sides of the nose. When that area contributes to a restricted feeling, it may make nasal airflow feel more comfortable. Nothing goes inside the nostrils and the mouth stays free.

BreathersBliss Intense nasal strips are drug-free and single-use. Their local mechanism explains their purpose: support at the nasal entrance. A pleasant feeling does not establish that breathing remains normal throughout the night.

02

Why nasal strips do not treat sleep apnoea

In obstructive sleep apnoea, the upper airway repeatedly closes during sleep. Pulling gently on the outside of the nose does not by itself keep that airway open. CPAP supplies pressurised air through a mask and has a different role.

Quieter snoring is not proof that apnoea has gone away. Observed breathing pauses, waking with choking or pronounced daytime sleepiness need medical assessment. Do not postpone that assessment while waiting to see whether an accessory seems to help.

03

Using nasal strips with CPAP: check the particular mask

There is no single answer for every mask. Nasal masks, full-face masks and nasal pillows contact different areas. Discuss strip placement and contact with the mask cushion with your equipment provider or sleep team.

Show them the strip reference, your mask and any skin marks. Ask whether an added strip could interfere with the seal or create pressure on the skin. This is an individual compatibility check, not a general claim that BreathersBliss works with all CPAP equipment.

Do not cut a strip to fit it under a mask or cover mask vents with adhesive. Do not change prescribed pressure settings to compensate for a leak.

04

If your care team approves the combination

Follow both sets of instructions. Apply the strip to clean, dry, intact skin without cream or oil in the adhesive area. Our nasal strip application guide explains positioning, but it does not replace your CPAP mask instructions.

Report new leaks, pain, irritation or ongoing discomfort. Remove the added accessory if it causes problems, keep following your prescribed treatment and contact your care team. How comfortable your nose feels is separate from the professional review of treatment data.

05

Choose BreathersBliss for a clearly defined need

If nasal-comfort use is suitable for your situation, Intense offers 30 external single-use strips. The product page explains how they work, how to apply them and the precautions. That specific nasal need should guide your purchase, not the expectation of replacing a machine.

A first pouch lets you try the reference. The packs below are options for users who already know how they use and tolerate the strips. Choose quantity after that, without assuming a medical benefit. Read the BreathersBliss usage instructions before ordering.

Frequently asked questions

Can nasal strips replace CPAP?

No. They support comfort at the nasal entrance but do not provide treatment pressure or treat sleep apnoea.

Can I wear Intense with any CPAP mask?

Universal compatibility has not been established. Ask your care team to check your mask type, contact areas, seal and skin before combining them.

Does less snoring mean sleep apnoea has stopped?

No. Less noise does not confirm that breathing pauses have stopped. Diagnosis and follow-up require medical assessment.

Should I lower the pressure if my nose feels more open?

No. Do not change prescribed settings based on a sensation. Discuss comfort and any leaks with your treatment team.

What if the strip interferes with my mask?

Remove the added accessory and contact your equipment provider or sleep team. Do not abandon prescribed treatment or modify the mask yourself.

Which BreathersBliss format should I start with?

If suitable for your situation, the 30-strip Intense pouch lets you try the reference. Packs can then suit an established pattern of use.
