BreathersBliss Lab · Practical guide

A familiar run can feel harder in summer, while sweat challenges your strip’s adhesive contact. BreathersBliss fits into simple preparation: dry skin before you leave, equipment that does not rub and effort suited to the day. Nasal comfort is one part of that routine, not a reason to ignore the weather.

At a glance

Apply Intense before sweating, maintain suitable sun protection and favour cooler conditions. The strip supports the nasal entrance; it does not cool the body or protect against heatstroke.

01

What a nasal strip adds to a summer run

BreathersBliss Intense nasal strips gently lift the sides of the nasal opening from outside. This mechanical support can make the entrance feel more comfortable, without medication or an insert inside the nostrils. The black single-use format is prepared before departure as a small part of your kit.

A more open-feeling nose and the ability to cope with heat are different things. Your body must still lose heat generated by exercise. Do not hold onto a winter pace just because your nose feels clear. Let your mouth contribute when needed: wearing a strip does not require exclusively nasal breathing. The easy-running guide helps put breathing sensations in the context of suitable effort.

02

Sweat and sunscreen: prepare the adhesive area sensibly

Apply somewhere cool to clean, fully dry skin. Keep oily residue out of the adhesive area and press the ends as instructed. Intense is designed for reinforced adhesion during sport, but hold still depends on preparation, rubbing and your perspiration. Do not expect exactly the same wearing time from every outing.

Sun protection must not become the thing you sacrifice to preserve adhesive. Protect exposed areas and use appropriate physical protection, such as a cap and shade. The strip is not a certified sunscreen. If correct application and necessary protection cannot coexist, prioritise the protection. Check glasses contact points before leaving too; the skin and adhesive guide covers preparation in more detail.

03

Adjust the run, not just your equipment

Choose a cooler time, a shaded route and a session you can shorten easily. In hot conditions, reduce intensity and consider postponing; during a heatwave, completing the training plan is not the priority. Check local alerts and seek advice before exercise if a health condition or medication makes heat more risky for you.

Plan access to water and suitable breaks before you need them. If you feel weak, dizzy or nauseated, stop activity, move somewhere cool and get help. Confusion, collapse or loss of consciousness requires emergency assistance and cooling while help arrives. A nasal accessory never makes it sensible to push on through these signs.

04

Protect contact without putting adhesion first

Dab your face rather than dragging a towel across the strip’s edges. If you need to cool down, do so: keeping a strip attached never takes priority over heat management. If it loosens, stop to remove it and only apply a fresh strip once the skin is clean and dry again. Do not add glue or stack strips.

Remove gently after the session and check your skin. Stop if irritation develops. Intense is single-use, with 30 strips in a pouch; plan a fresh one for the next application. Test your routine during several easy runs rather than on a hot race day. Once comfortable, choose a pack for regular use without turning a local comfort accessory into a performance promise.

Frequently asked questions

Can nasal strips help with hot-weather running?

They can support comfort at the nasal entrance. They do not replace appropriate effort, cooling, access to water or weather-related decisions.

Does BreathersBliss stay on when I sweat?

Intense is designed for reinforced sports adhesion. Hold depends on skin, application and rubbing; apply before sweating.

Can I put a strip over sunscreen?

Oily residue can interfere with adhesion. Prepare clean, dry skin without neglecting overall sun protection; prioritise necessary protection if the two conflict.

Can a strip protect against heatstroke?

No. A more open-feeling nose does not cool your body or make intense exercise safe in a heatwave.

What should I do if I feel unwell on a run?

Stop, move somewhere cool and seek help. Confusion or loss of consciousness needs immediate emergency assistance. Do not carry on just to finish training.
